Poetry

"In my barren land you are the final rose."

On the "Road"

Don't wanna walk in the pouring rain,

yet we always do.

Don't wanna stay in the endless maze,

yet we never move.

Am I the only one?

The only one who's blocking "me" outside the room?

I'm waiting for too long,

too long for the roses to bloom.

Who on earth are we in the vast river of stars?

Who am I really competing with in this smokeless war?

Is it the end or just a start?

We are near, dear, yet far apart.

We enjoy its splendor, we endure its decay,

In this heavenly chaos, we stay.

We struggle in the fog, we question our fate,

but we are still on the road, we say.

EPIPHANY

Every tear that is falling

People couldn't see it coming

Into the darkness that we are hiding

Pain, sorrow, who's not struggling?

Happiness doesn't come easily

At last, we still have to fight for it

No games come without difficulties

Yet we still need to have the confidence to win

I Remember

I remember when I first stepped into that place,

Stepping across that line.

Odd and puzzling,

Tragedy.

Greeting those confused sights,

I chose a seat furthest away from the spotlight.

But it was the wrong class, it was the wrong seat,

“I’m so sorry, I’m—”

Uh, the wrecking ball hit me twice.

All Around

Shining, cheering all around,

She lives in a place with a lively crowd.

People pin their dreams on songs they hum,

The cozy life that one dream to have could be found.

Smiling, chirping all around,

She lives in a neighborhood where friends rarely frown.

Birds pipe in the blue when the red rises,

And they will find their way back home before that red is down.

Seeking, chasing all around,

She’s a girl who’s still finding her own crown.

Following the moon at night and the sun at dawn,

She’s still wondering, wandering all around.
